Dougal

Hello Everyone…

Message from a little pooch…

My name is ‘Dougal’, and I was a stray. The kind folks at Tallaght Garda Station rescued me from a busy road, and rehomed me with Elsie and Carolyn… It’s a good life… I’m well fed, watered, walked and loved… What more could a pooch want…

Sadly, Elsie is not very well… She’s in kidney failure, on dialysis and has Parkinson’s Disease… Carolyn’s her sole carer, and she gets fantastic help from Cathy, Natashia (Elsie’s carer from the Carers Association.) and all the kind people at the Carers Association…

I’ve decided that I should do my bit and raise some money to help this very worthy cause… So on April 25th (Easter Monday) I’ll be going walkies for carers… I’m doing the Carers Association’s National Dog walk in Santry, Dublin…

I, Elsie, and particularly, Carolyn would very much appreciate it if you could sponsor me… Any amount, however small is a very big help, and would be very much appreciated… Last year, I raised the most money of all the participating pooches, and I’d really love to retain my title!!!… competitive, me???… LOL!!!….

Thanks everyone….

Love… ‘Dougal’…..

Rihanna

A little message from Rihannas owner, who we seen for some surgery recently after a car accident.

Rihanna recently had to have her tail amputated at The Animal Hospital, so has been through the wars god love her. I’m glad to say though she appears to be back to her normal self now and is out and about again. God knows what the neighbours think when they see her jumping walls with a bald bum in tow… We’ll be glad when the fur grows back. Her stump healed really well and she even has a wag in it which is really cute. Thanks for all the care she was given during her stay.

Foxy and Button need new homes April 8, 2011

Foxy (top) and Button (bottom)

This beautiful pair of cats were originally part of 2 separate litters here at The Animal Hospital last summer. They were joined together when they were 8 weeks old as their other siblings received their new homes. They went to a loving home together shortly after, were they were very happy indeed. We seen them back at 6 months to be neutered. Unfortunatly, their new owner became very sick and ended up in and out of hospital himself so no longer had the time needed for them and brought them back to us for rehoming.

They have been here about a month now and would love to get back out to a real home were they can become the centre of attention again. They are both about 11 months old, fully vaccinated and neutered. We really do want to home them as a pair because they are great pals. If you are interested in taking on Foxy and Button, please contact the practice or come visit them.
